SWG Reckoning is a Jedi enabled Pre-CU SWG server. Reckoning is staffed by experienced Pre-CU players whose common goal is to bring Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies back to the masses while also striving to provide the best possible play experience for our community. We really believe that Pre-CU did things right. Things will not be given away or made easy on this server. Our end goal is to take SWG Pre-CU and add to it. While we may add new items, features, and quests, we will never mess with or alter the core Pre-CU experience.NGE Items: While we believe the NGE ruined the game, it did bring some cool new elements with it. With that being said, we decided to integrate a few things from the NGE such as player housing, speeders, and furniture into the server. We will continue adding new items in the future.Jedi System: On Reckoning, we have implemented a unique Jedi System. On character creation, every character is assigned a random set of variables that determine what they have to achieve before heading down the Jedi path. Some will be more attuned to the Force, while others will have to work a little harder. Our Jedi system uses elements of the village and hologrind systems. Jedi is hard to achieve [as it should be], so it will take some time before you begin down your pathBuffs: We have enhancement terminals that provide basic buffs in the lower level areas. This is to provide a little boost to new players. Buffs were a very important element of Pre-CU combat and leveling. The day will come where Doctors and Dancers set up shop all over the galaxyCrafting: SWG did crafting right and needs no changes. We have added new craftables and will continue to add more as we go along.Player Cities: Player cities have been adjusted to be in line with current server population. As the server population increases, we will look at adjusting player cities.Events: Reckoning staff members run regular events almost every weekend. We feel that this brings a community closer together. Players are also encouraged to hold events.Hardware: Reckoning runs on a high end dedicated server that will allow future growth while providing the best play experience.Processor: Intel[R] Xeon [R] CPU E5-1650v2 3.90GHz, 12 cores Memory: 128GB DDR3 Disks: 2x 2 TB SATA3 HGST Ent. 7K4000 / 500GB SSD NAS Backup Network: 1GB Dedicated LineBackup: The SWG Reckoning Berkeley Database MySQL Database are backed up every 6 hours on a remote 500GB SSD provided by our host. We take loss of data very seriously and will do everything in our power to protect game data.In Closing: We hope that you will make SWG Reckoning your new SWG home.Once you sign up, hop in game and relive the SWG saga
