About Dusty Cactus

Welcome to our cozy corner of the Minecraft universe! Dusty Cactus is more than just a server; it’s a living, breathing world built on trust, community, and the beauty of classic Minecraft.

Here is what we stand for and how we run things:

True Vanilla & Preservation of History

We believe that the best Minecraft experiences are built over time. We love the classic vanilla gameplay and never reset our world.

- Why no wipes? Because we value your time, your massive projects, and the history we build together. Your very first dirt shelter and your grand megastructures will remain here years from now.

- What about new updates? You won’t miss out on new content! When Mojang releases a new update, we simply expand the world or let you explore new territories. Fresh biomes and structures will generate in unexplored lands, keeping our history intact while keeping the game fresh.

An Endless Horizon (No Strict Borders)

We don't believe in confining your creativity to a small box. Dusty Cactus features an extremely large world map. Whether you want to build a bustling town with neighbors near spawn or travel tens of thousands of blocks away to establish a secluded kingdom, the choice is entirely yours. There’s room for everyone!

Trust, Community & Self-Defense

We don’t use intrusive land-claiming plugins because we want our world to look clean and natural. Instead, we rely on mutual respect and smart tools.

What is CoreProtect?

It is a logging tool that records every single action on the server (who placed a block, opened a chest, or broke a window) without changing how the vanilla game feels. Think of it as a friendly block-detective in your pocket!

- Every player has access to CoreProtect commands like [/co i] (to inspect specific blocks) and [/co lookup] (to check block history in a radius around you without having to click every block).

- We highly value players who help keep our wilderness safe. If you notice something is wrong, you have the tools to investigate, and our staff is always ready to roll back any damage instantly. By helping us catch bad actors, you help protect the home we’ve all built together.

Dusty Cactus is a passion project. We are here for the long run, and we are incredibly happy to have you join our story.
